Framed within a sniper's crosshairs, this May 1994 Valiant issue puts Bloodshot — his distinctive red-circle visor unmistakable — at the center of a tense, close-quarters confrontation with two older men, one visibly alarmed and gesturing urgently. The cover by Don Perlin and Dick Giordano uses that rifle-scope framing to instantly signal danger closing in from all sides, a perfect visual setup for a story titled "Divided We Fall." It's a taut, well-crafted cover that makes you want to find out just what kind of trouble has cornered Valiant's nanite-powered anti-hero this time.
