In "Secondhand Kommando," Rayne cuts through a routine errand when a corner store robbery takes a bizarre turn—her target isn’t a criminal, but a kid in a World War II GGG officer’s suit, recently acquired from an auction. As she subdues the would-be robber, the store’s floor splits open, and the Boralis monster emerges just as a gas leak sets off the explosion. Rayne vanishes into the chaos, leaving the cashier unconscious and the past’s armor buried in flame.
