The fourth chapter of DC's 2016 six-issue Bloodlines series delivers a striking cover by penciler V Ken Marion and inker Sean Parsons: a massively built, blue-skinned figure with glowing red eyes and shredded clothing stands defiantly beneath a full moon, his fists clenched while grasping, root-like creatures with green-glowing eyes writhe around his legs. It's a beautifully rendered image — menacing yet charged with the sense of someone fighting through something overwhelming. With J. T.
