Blood & Thunder #3 from Image Comics delivers a cover that grabs you immediately: a red-haired figure in a jacket is ensnared by massive crimson tentacles, struggling against what appears to be a heavy piece of machinery amid a storm of flying debris and shrapnel. E.J. Su's linework crackles with kinetic energy, and MSassyK's warm amber and red palette makes the whole chaotic scene feel like it's on the verge of combustion.
