Blood Queen vs. Dracula #2

Dynamite's dark fantasy clash continues in this second chapter, with Jay Anacleto's painted-style cover depicting a gaunt, blood-smeared Dracula clutching a dark-haired woman in his red-caped grasp while another fallen figure lies at his feet — all set against a backdrop of ornate, gore-dripping geometric shapes that drip crimson from above. The composition is genuinely unsettling in the best way, with Anacleto and colorist Ivan Nunes bathing the scene in sickly golds and deep reds that give the whole thing a grotesque, candlelit grandeur. If the cover is any indication, this 2015 miniseries is leaning hard into its premise of two monstrous royals sharing a very bloody world.
