Blondie Comics Monthly #44
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeDagwood is up to his usual mischief in this July 1952 issue of Blondie Comics Monthly, and the cover says it all — he's gleefully pumping a spray device that sends a billowing cloud straight at Blondie and a young girl, who flee in alarm shouting "EEK!" and "PHEW!" The cover promises that "Dagwood Invents a Disappearance Liquid," and judging by the chaos erupting in that doorway, the results are every bit as disastrous as you'd expect. Chic Young's cheerful domestic humor is on full display in this Harvey Comics edition, and "Magic Maker" sounds like exactly the kind of well-meaning-invention-gone-wrong fun that made this series a staple of 1950s funny-book reading.
