In "Old Faithful," Dagwood Bumstead’s day takes a sharp turn when he’s fired before he can even ask Mr. Dithers for a raise. Left at home, he tries to stay calm and forget the mishap, but every quiet moment is threatened by the ringing phone—especially the one from the office he’s desperate to avoid.

In "Face Value," Dagwood Bumstead finds himself caught in a surreal spiral when Mr. Dithers, convinced he’s not at work, becomes convinced that Dagwood is haunting the office—everywhere he looks, there’s Bumstead, asleep or otherwise. The comic leans into the absurd with a man losing his mind over a single, perpetually present coworker, all while Dagwood remains blissfully unaware.
