Charlton's long-running adaptation of Chic Young's beloved comic strip keeps the domestic laughs coming in this 1973 installment. The cover by Paul Fung Jr. captures a perfectly absurd suburban standoff: Dagwood teeters atop a wooden sawhorse, hammer raised mid-swing, while Blondie points up at him with exasperated logic — "Dagwood, why don't you just mow the lawn?" — as the family dog looks on near a very ironic "Keep Off the Grass" sign.
