“Doing Their Thing!”

In "Doing Their Thing!", a classic slice-of-life moment goes hilariously off the rails when Dagwood and Herb are caught mid-card game in the Bumstead basement by an unexpected return from Blondie. With the stakes high and the game still in progress, the entire crew bolts in panic—Dagwood and Herb still shouting "raise and call"—and ends up stranded in a garbage dump. Paul Fung Jr. brings the chaos to life with his expressive art and tight inking, both on the interior and on the cover, capturing the absurdity of the moment with perfect timing.
