“Votate per George Finmore”

In "Votate per George Finmore," a former colonel is drawn into a haunting reunion with his past when an invitation leads him through the woods, where an enigmatic old man offers to buy his remorse for a dollar. As memories of a wartime decision resurface—where thirty men were sacrificed for a tactical advantage—the colonel flees, only to find himself at a gathering where the dead sit at a table, their wounds still fresh. The story unfolds with quiet dread, as the line between guilt and memory blurs, and the truth of his actions begins to take shape. Cover by Mario Cubbino.
