Blei in den Knochen #[nn]
This volume collects the German translation of the Nestor Burma detective story 'Blei in den Knochen', originally by French author Léo Malet. Published by Edition Moderne in 1990, it presents the hardboiled Parisian private eye in a classic noir mystery, adapted into a graphic novel format. The collection is part of the series that brought Malet's iconic character to German-speaking readers with atmospheric, period-appropriate artwork.
A 1990 issue from the Edition Moderne series, this comic features a story titled "Blei in den Knochen - Eine vermaldeite, aber anziehende Kneipe," written by Jacques Tardi and David Basler, with art, inks, colors, and letters by Jacques Tardi and Jörg Walker. The cover, also by Jacques Tardi, depicts a stylized, evocative scene of a dimly lit, slightly surreal bar.
