Blazing West #19

The main story follows Pony Bob as he undertakes a heroic mail run across treacherous mountain terrain, escaping from a Piute ambush and fighting off a siege of fifty Piutes at a remote adobe fort. After helping secure the fort's safety, Bob continues his dangerous journey but faces a life-threatening situation when a gust of wind nearly sends him plummeting from a cliff. Though trapped on a narrow ledge with seemingly no way down, Bob manages to escape and uses the Rocky Trail around Mustang Lake to eventually complete his mail delivery, an unprecedented feat accomplished in just three hours—a record that will stand forever in the history of the Blazing West.
