Blanche Épiphanie #3
This volume collects the second adventure of the eccentric and fearless heroine Blanche Épiphanie, originally serialized in the pages of Métal Hurlant. In 'La Croisière infernale,' she embarks on a perilous ocean voyage that quickly descends into chaos, blending satirical humor with the surreal, psychedelic artwork characteristic of the series. The story was created by the French duo of writer Pierre Christin and artist Annie Goetzinger, continuing their distinctive take on the adventure genre with a strong, independent female lead.
Blanche Épiphanie #3 (1977) features the story "La Croisière infernale," written by Jacques Lob and illustrated by Georges Pichard, who also handled inking and lettering. The issue presents a surreal, satirical journey aboard a mysterious cruise, populated by the series' eccentric characters. The cover, also by Georges Pichard, complements the story's whimsical and darkly humorous tone.
