Blackest Night: Superman #3
The concluding chapter of DC's 2009 Blackest Night: Superman miniseries delivers a genuinely striking cover: Superman locks eyes — and fists — with a decayed, Black Lantern version of himself, their heat vision beams colliding in a blinding flash of light as debris floats around them. Eddy Barrows' cover art captures the deeply unsettling mirror-image horror at the heart of this story, pitting the Man of Steel against a corrupted reflection wearing his own face. With James Robinson scripting and Barrows handling the interior art as well, this final issue promises a tense, emotionally charged showdown.
