Black Widow #15

Phil Noto's cover for issue #15 is a masterclass in quiet menace — Natasha's face emerges from a map of Europe and Africa, overlaid with a rifle, a grenade, and splashes of blood-red, with a fan of rifle cartridges arranged in the foreground like an open threat. The stark black, red, and tan palette does as much storytelling as any caption could, hinting at a globe-spanning mission with very high stakes. Nathan Edmondson and Noto have been one of Marvel's sharpest creative pairings, and "An Enemy Revealed" sounds like exactly the payoff this run has been building toward.
