Black Torch #5

The fifth and final volume of Tsuyoshi Takaki's Black Torch lands with a striking cover that says a lot through contrast alone — a white-haired young man in a dark tracksuit stands back-to-back with a tall, elegantly suited figure whose two-toned black-and-white hair gives him an air of cool menace. Against that vivid green background, the tension between the two characters practically crackles, hinting at the charged dynamic at the heart of this Ki-oon shonen series. A satisfying conclusion to pick up in 2019.
