Black Science #24
A battered figure in sci-fi dimensional-travel gear crawls bleeding across the ground while a ring of dark-suited men — weapons drawn, one blazing with a blinding burst of light — closes in from above, making for one of the tensest covers in Rick Remender and Matteo Scalera's dimension-hopping series. Moreno Dinisio's cool teal palette throws the grim tableau into sharp relief, with that lone suited figure standing watch in the background adding an extra layer of dread. If you've been following Black Science, issue #24 makes it unmistakably clear the stakes have never felt more desperate.
