Deadpool has apparently made himself very comfortable in Wakanda — the cover shows the Merc with a Mouth lounging confidently on what appears to be a royal throne, surrounded by a pride of prowling black panthers, while his speech bubble cheekily addresses T'Challa with "Hey, T'Challa — how you like meow?" The fourth issue of this 2019 Marvel miniseries leans hard into the comedic tension at the heart of the premise, and the throne room standoff framed by Wakandan banners makes for a genuinely fun cover image. Kibblesmith, López Ortiz, and Sobreiro's collaboration gets a striking visual send-off courtesy of Ryan Benjamin's cover art, which balances the absurdity of Deadpool with the regal menace of multiple big cats ready to pounce.
