This anthology issue contains two supernatural tales. "An Eye for an Eye" follows a man named Marvin who seeks revenge after discovering a creature with empty eye sockets has risen from the grave—a thing responsible for his daughter's disappearance. A second story involves Peter Lindsey, a police chief consulting with Professor Ericson about a mummy stolen from the Cairo Museum; when the mummy is discovered to be the five-thousand-year-old Prince Akhnaton, Ericson theorizes the theft may be connected to a man obsessed with the artifact's curse. A third narrative presents Carl Abel, who is dying and refuses to leave his home, believing that as long as he remains there, his brother will be bound to stay in his house as well, even after death—a dark bargain made between the two men.
