Black Diamond Western #30

Black Diamond and Bumper discover that a villain named Jackson and his associate have stolen rifles from a fort and plan to use them to attack a nearby Apache settlement. After foiling the villains' initial scheme with the help of wild horses and an explosion, Black Diamond and Bumper are captured and bound. They manage to escape and set a trap using a stove's smoke signals to alert nearby Indians, leading to the defeat of Jackson's gang. The story concludes with Black Diamond and Bumper being thanked by Mr. Hodges, who invites them to stay at his ranch, where they are warmly welcomed by the other residents.
