In "The Golden Indians," Black Diamond and Bumper confront a dangerous Apache mob led by Chief Victorio, who demands the heroes help break up a treacherous gang known as the Indian Ring operating in 1880s Arizona. "Black Diamond's Reliapons Double" follows the heroes as they uncover a horse-stealing operation and discover duplicate horses used in a racing scheme. "The Apache Reign of Terror" concludes with Black Diamond and Bumper working to stop the criminal activities threatening the territory while confronting the identity-switching plot involving the duplicate horses and the stolen animals used in the race.
Black Diamond and his horse Reliapon arrive at a Blackfeet reservation to help Chief Red Horse investigate a series of mysterious supernatural events—fires, avalanches, and strange omens—that are terrifying the tribe and forcing them to abandon their ancestral lands. When Black Diamond discovers fresh boot prints from white men on the government reservation, he realizes someone is orchestrating these "miracles" for a sinister purpose, and he sets out to uncover the truth before the superstitious tribe is driven away forever.
Black Diamond takes on a treacherous assignment for General Crook in 1880s Arizona—tracking down Chief Victorio and his Apache warriors who've been terrorizing the territory. But the marshal soon uncovers a darker conspiracy: a corrupt outfit called the Indian Ring, led by the ruthless Shelton Cass, has been fueling the conflict by supplying arms to Victorio while bleeding the government dry with shoddy provisions. Black Diamond's investigation into Cass's operation sets him on a collision course with danger that threatens to unravel everything he's working toward.
