# Black Cat #22 (April 1950) The main story, "The Phony Crusade," follows Black Cat as she confronts a countess who runs a fake charity organization. When Black Cat discovers the countess's scheme to exploit donations, she engages in a fight to stop the criminals and expose the fraud. The issue also features backup stories including "Holly of Hollywood," in which a taxi driver becomes entangled in complications when actress Holly breaks out with measles and quarantines herself in his cab for three weeks, leaving him with an enormous fare debt.
