This 1983 Danish edition brings Raoul Cauvin and Willy Lambil's beloved duo Blutch and Chester back for another comedic misadventure, with the story title "Blutch redder (h)æren" promising that the perpetually put-upon Blutch has somehow found himself saving the army — or at least trying to. Lambil's expressive linework, on full display in both pencils and inks, has always been the perfect visual home for these two hapless Civil War soldiers, and Danish writer Per Vadmand's localization keeps the humor feeling right at home for Scandinavian readers.
