Bishop and his team meet with the Kith to make a deal but are rebuffed as the Kith have already made a deal with the Chronomancer. Separated from Bishop, his companions find Nom and the citizens of Dunduine in stasis and free them right before the Witness pulls them back to the walled city. Bishop discovers king Kalin's brother in chains and is promised assistance in fighting the Kith in return for freedom.
