Birds of Prey #4

Part one of a five-part chase kicks off here, and Annie Wu's cover sets the tension immediately — a helmeted, gold-and-black armored figure dominates the center, crossed blades slashing across her face, while Black Canary and a dark-haired teammate surge forward in the foreground and a bat-suited figure looms in the shadows behind. Kelly Thompson and Sami Basri's ongoing run continues to pack this team with compelling personalities, and with "On the Run" just getting started, issue #4 feels like exactly the right moment to be following the Birds of Prey.
