Dynamite's Bionic Man reaches issue #24 with a cover that splits the action across two striking panels — above, a figure stands hands-bound before a gaping void in a shattered glass skyscraper, while below, a man in a dark suit plunges downward through cascading shards of broken glass against a cityscape sky. Jonathan Lau's linework gives both scenes a kinetic, almost vertigo-inducing energy, with Ivan Nunes's colors lending the whole image a tense, steel-cold atmosphere. If this cover is any indication, 2013's Bionic Man was pushing its hero — and its readers — right to the edge.
