Binky's Buddies #11
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeHenry Scarpelli's cover for this October 1970 DC teen comedy captures the gang's antics perfectly: three flustered guys are practically piled on top of each other on a park bench, awkwardly squished together while a cool, stylishly dressed blonde girl sits at the other end — utterly unbothered and reading a book — as she cheerfully asks, "I do hope I'm not crowding you fellers any!" It's a great snapshot of the good-natured, lighthearted humor that made DC's teen titles so charming in the early '70s. With "The Unbelievers!" on the interior roster, Binky's Buddies #11 delivers exactly the kind of breezy, laugh-out-loud fun that made this series a warm alternative to superhero fare.
