Billy the Kid #93

This July 1972 Charlton western puts the tension front and center: a rifle-wielding gunman lurks in a doorway, leveling his weapon at a rider on a spotted horse who's racing hard through the street — a revolver visible in the foreground adding another layer of danger to the scene. José Delbo handles both pencils and inks on the cover, delivering crisp, kinetic artwork that captures the gritty pulse of frontier action. With the story "He Was Once a Man" waiting inside, issue #93 is a solid slice of early-'70s western comics at a very reasonable twenty cents.
