This issue contains two stories. The main story, "Billy the Kid Turned Outlaw?", features a masked marshal confronting Billy the Kid, claiming to recognize him beneath the disguise and demanding he surrender his gun. The story then follows Billy as he pursues a band of rustlers led by Seguro, discovering that Seguro has turned traitor and is stealing cattle from Tully Hill. Billy tracks Seguro northward with approximately 400 head of cattle, and the rustlers scatter before Billy can catch them, with Seguro escaping to the south. The second story, "The Marshal and the Prisoner," is a text story detailing U.S. Marshal John Gillins's encounter with a prisoner he is transporting, exploring themes of justice and the prisoner's claims of innocence regarding a murder charge.
