The Challs meet Zanna, former ruler of the planet Ak-Sel. He was overthrown by an insurgent, Dakyah, shrunk, and exiled into space. The Challengers and Zanna fly to Ak-Sel where Zanna’s underground fighters hide in an extinct volcano. When Dakyah’s troops attack, Zanna’s fighters and the Challengers fly to a floating island. The Challengers counter-attack by floating the entire island over the palace and blowing up the main defenses on jet-sleds. Zanna’s army overruns the palace and Dakyah is found before he can escape. With gratitude, the Challengers are flown back to Earth.
