Big Bang Comics #32
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeBig Bang Comics #32 brings a wonderfully chaotic, music-drenched cover from penciler and inker Tim Stiles, featuring a belt-it-out female singer at center stage surrounded by colorful musical notes and floating bubbles, a flamboyant pink-clad villain, a group of suit-wearing young men that evoke a '60s pop group, and two costumed heroes — the green-and-red-clad sidekick and the purple-suited Knight Watchman — reeling at the bottom as if literally knocked off their feet by the noise. The banner's cheeky "Holy Earplugs!" tease and the story title "The Pink Flamingo's Real-Gone Rebop Roost?" promise a groovy, era-flavored adventure that leans fully into the Silver Age spirit Big Bang Comics does so well. If you enjoy superhero storytelling with a playful sense of humor and genuine affection for comics history, this 2000 Image release is a fine addition to the run.
