“Who Do You Think You Are?”

In "Who Do You Think You Are?", Allison steps into the role of The Sphinx after Peter's disappearance, testing her resolve during a shaky police chase. Doubt creeps in until Janey reminds her that Peter believed in her enough to pass on his legacy. When a burning building traps a young girl, Allison faces the fire chief's skepticism head-on, determined to act despite the danger. A 1998 Image Comics standout, this issue features all creative duties handled by Jeff Weigel, with the cover also by him.

Allison decides to use Peter's equipment to carry on his work as The Sphinx. After screwing up during a police car chase, she questions if she should continue, but Janey tells her Peter wouldn't have left her his costume if he didn't think she was capable. When a fire traps a little girl in a burning building, she goes to help, even though the fire chief doesn't appreciate her help-- at first.
