“The Golden Age Beacon”

Big Bang Comics #19 bills itself as a "Top Secret Origins Issue," and the cover — penciled and inked by Jeff Weigel — delivers that premise with a fun, Silver Age charm. Two costumed heroes, The Beacon and a green-masked heroine in a blue-and-white outfit, hold up dossier-style photos stamped "Top Secret," while a winged red-suited figure identified as The Hummingbird stands between them, the whole scene framed by playful speech bubbles promising readers "full security clearance" to learn the truth. It's a warm, retro-flavored package that sets up the Golden Age Beacon story inside with genuine style.
