Beware the Eye of Odin #1

From Image Comics' 30th anniversary year comes this Norse mythology adventure, Beware the Eye of Odin #1, written by Doug Wagner with art and cover by Tim Odland and colors by Michelle Madsen. Odland's cover draws the eye immediately to a disembodied, all-seeing eye hovering above a crimson sky, while a trio of warriors — a young axe-wielding fighter, a grizzled elder bound in chains, and a spirited young woman — stand defiantly before a horde of looming, monstrous figures. Surrounding the whole scene is an ornate Norse-knotwork border crawling with tiny creatures, setting a tone that's equal parts epic myth and playful adventure.
