This 48-page giant special from 1998 captures the Riverdale gang at their sun-soaked best, with cover art by Dan DeCarlo and Henry Scarpelli showing Betty in a red beach cover-up quipping to a gleefully unbothered Veronica — whose fishnet cover-up over a polka-dot bikini is, well, not exactly covering much. Archie and the boys grinning in the background only add to the breezy comedic energy that makes this series such a warm slice of summer. A great oversized read for fans of Betty and Veronica at the beach.
