In "Just a Perfect Friendship," Veronica proudly shows off her new hope chest to Betty, only to see her friend tear up—she doesn’t have one. Moved, Veronica buys Betty a matching chest and enlists Archie and Jughead to deliver it, turning a simple gesture into a sweet, heartfelt moment between friends.
In "The Fox Who Cried Wolf," Betty pulls a playful prank on Veronica by faking a romantic moment with Archie, using a messy hairdo as proof. When Betty later kisses Archie for real, Veronica remains convinced it’s all just another joke.
Jo and Veronica show up at the beach in their new bikinis, hoping to turn heads, but the boys are too busy crafting elaborate sand castles to notice. The girls exchange a look—this is going to take more than swimsuits to impress them.
