The cover of this July 1974 Archie Series issue tells a wonderfully relatable story in two panels: Betty enthusiastically announces to her exasperated father that Archie has fixed their TV set and toaster — and in the bottom panel, the moment he touches the television, a resounding "CLICK!" sends the giant toaster launching toast skyward while everyone recoils in alarm. Dan DeCarlo's pencils and Rudy Lapick's inks bring the comedy to life with that perfectly expressive Riverdale charm. A fun slice of suburban misadventure that makes Betty and Me such an enduring delight.
