Betty Cooper is having quite the fright night — perched wide-eyed on a blue sofa, she exclaims to Archie that they're watching "one scary video," while a mysterious figure with glowing eyes lurks in the half-open closet behind her. Stan Goldberg and Henry Scarpelli deliver a wonderfully playful cover that balances genuine spookiness with the warm, lighthearted charm that makes this series such a joy. Issue #59, dated March 1998, also features the story "Snow Bound," promising plenty of Betty fun beyond the living room chills.
