“A Night to Remember”

In "A Night to Remember," Archie panics when he hears Betty might be moving away, prompting Jughead to suggest a heartfelt dinner confession—just in case. Following that advice, Archie opens up to Betty, only to discover the whole crisis was a misunderstanding. Written by Barbara Slate and brought to life with Stan Goldberg’s signature art and John Lowe’s inks, this sweet, bittersweet moment captures the nervous charm of teenage romance, all wrapped in a cover by Goldberg and Smith.

When Archie thinks Betty is moving away from Riverdale, Jughead advises him to take her to dinner and tell her that he loves her. Since she won't be around anymore, that will leave Archie with Veronica and no complications. Archie follows the advice but then it turns out that Betty isn't leaving after all.
