Betty's parents never had a honeymoon, so she wants to provide one as a surprise. As she does research and solicits opinions, people assume she's planning her own honeymoon with Archie, and Veronica warns Betty's parents. When all is straightened out Mr. Lodge uses Veronica's allowance to make a major contribution to underwrite the trip, in apology for Veronica's spoiling the surprise.
