Part of Marvel's 2023 "Destiny of X" line, this fourth issue of Betsy Braddock: Captain Britain presents a cover alive with tension and color. Two young heroes — one channeling a flame in his palm, the other wielding a glowing energy blade — stand their ground at the fore, while looming behind them are a dark-robed, armored figure unmistakably reminiscent of Doctor Doom, a legion of his armored Doom-bots, and a regal, tiara-crowned woman gazing down imperiously. Artist Erica D'Urso fills every corner of the composition with purpose, balancing the warmth of that conjured flame against the cool threat of the forces arrayed above.
