This is an anthology issue featuring four Western stories: "Straight Arrow" in "The Pits of Peril," where the hero must face three deadly pit traps created by the evil Feather Hat to save his people; "Tim Holt" in an untitled story involving cattle rustling and deception at a saloon; "The Durango Kid" starring Charles Starrett; and "Ghost Rider," where a supernatural avenger pursues wrongdoing. The issue also includes a story involving a character named Steve and a cattle rustling scheme involving the "Big Bar-X" herd.
