This fifth volume of the French edition of Über collects issues from the ongoing alternate-history war comic by Kieron Gillen and Caanan White, where the Axis and Allies develop superhuman soldiers known as 'tank-men' to turn the tide of World War II. The story continues to escalate the conflict as new powers emerge and the human cost of this super-weapon race becomes ever more devastating.

A 2016 issue of Über from Panini France, this installment titled "Le grand brasier" features the creative team of writer Kieron Gillen and artist Daniel Gete, with inking and coloring by Gete and Digikore Studios respectively, and lettering by Alessandra Gozzi. The cover, illustrated by Caanan White, presents the issue’s visual identity with distinct pencils and inks.
