“Beowulf: Gods and Monsters”

In "Beowulf: Gods and Monsters," Wulf—a warrior who’s lived among humans for 1400 years—steps in as an investigator guiding young heroes, including the unstable Powerhouse. When Powerhouse accidentally injures a cop and takes hostages after stopping a heist, Wulf tries to de-escalate the crisis, only to find the situation unraveling in ways he can’t explain. Written by Brian Augustyn and illustrated by Dub, with colors by Pierre Andre Dery and letters by Dave Lanphear, this issue blends mythic weight with modern superhero tension, all under a striking cover by Dub.
