Nick Robles's cover for this fourth chapter of BOOM! Studios' horror series is genuinely unsettling — a figure in red falls limp through darkness, surrounded by swirling crimson tendrils and the looming, partially obscured faces of enormous shadowy presences watching from the void. The scattered red droplets and upside-down perspective give the whole image a queasy sense of helplessness, with the human figure dwarfed by whatever vast entities lurk just beyond the light. Tate Brombal and Nick Robles have crafted one of 2023's most atmospheric horror titles, and this cover makes a strong case for why.
