This 1962 Dell gem puts Road Runner front and center in pure, cheerful cartoon form — munching a sandwich and sipping a drink through a straw while casually kicking up dust from the back of a little red wagon, multitasking at full speed as only he can. Pete Alvarado's cover art captures the bird's effortless charm against a bold yellow background, full of the breezy, good-natured humor that made this series a delight. With Phil De Lara on interior art and the story "Flip Top" waiting inside, this issue is a fine snapshot of early-'60s Looney Tunes comics fun.
