Batwoman #11
Batwoman #11 brings a genuinely unsettling confrontation to the fore, with Kate Kane's crimson-haired, bat-symbol-clad hero gripping the grotesque pig-masked Professor Pyg by the fist in a rain-slicked urban alley — a cover image rendered with striking, painterly energy by Bill Sienkiewicz. The tagline "Paging Professor Pyg!" makes clear that one of Gotham's most disturbing villains is squarely in Batwoman's crosshairs in the story "Pygsty," crafted by writer Kate Perkins with interior art by Scott Godlewski and colors by John Rauch. It's a beautifully composed, atmospheric issue that any fan of Gotham's darker corners will want on their shelf.
