This June 1957 Atlas war anthology promises four tense tales — "Zero Hour!," "The Human Targets!," "Crossfire!," and "Only One Came Back!" — packed into a single ten-cent issue. The cover by Fred Kida pulls you right into the chaos: a combat medic, red cross on his helmet, drags a wounded soldier to safety while enemy riflemen with fixed bayonets close in from behind against a smoke-choked, burning skyline. Gene Colan handles the interior art with Stan Goldberg on colors, making this a strong showcase of mid-1950s Atlas war storytelling talent.
