Charlton's Battlefield Action #37 delivers four war stories in one August 1961 package, led by "The Lone G.I." from writer Joe Gill with interior art by Bill Molno and Vince Alascia. The cover, penciled by Molno and inked by Alascia, puts you right in the thick of it — a helmeted G.I. unleashes a submachine gun in a burst of muzzle flash and a "RATATATATAT" of gunfire against a bullet-riddled building, while the lower panels show a grenade tumbling through the air and a soldier caught in a thunderous "WHAM" of an explosion.
