Robert Kirkman's irreverent series keeps delivering the goods with this fifth issue from Image, where the cigar-chomping Battle Pope crouches weapon in hand among moonlit gravestones — looking considerably less serene than Sunday morning. A shambling, ragged figure looms behind him against an eerie glowing halo of light, making it clear that even a graveyard is no place to catch a break when you're the pontiff of pugilism.
